Why we Love Cricket?
Cricket is that Rule, which has to be followed.
Cricket is not just a Game, it’s a basic necessity of an Indian Cricket Fan. And I must say, If you don’t like Cricket, then I don’t like you, as simple as that.
-> ‘And Sehwag starts off with a Boundary'
There is always something going to happen whenever Sehwag is on the crease - either he starts off with a boundary or the bowler starts off with a beautiful in-swing delivery kissing the inside edge of the bat on to the stumps - and Sehwag Gone.
But whenever Sehwag is in his full monty, he makes the bowlers pay the price to get him out or he continues to convert it in another milestone.
There is always some entertainment guaranteed(with Goosebumps) when Sachin-Sehwag went on to open the innings together for India.
That is why we love Cricket!!!
-> 'Cricket is a Gentleman’s Game'
If we say that Cricket is a Gentleman’s game, then Rahul Dravid is that 'Gentleman' in the sentence, we are talking about.
Undoubtedly the most charismatic and vintage cricketer of all time - The Wall - Rahul Dravid. He can bore you with his batting, but he will never disappoints you with the amount of runs he score.
Whenever he comes to bat, he carries his luggage with him and stays there on crease for like 2 Nights/3 days package.
That is why we love Cricket!!!
-> 'And Dhoni finishes it off in style — Six over long-on'
That six by Mahendra Singh Dhoni over Long-on in 2011 Cricket World Cup Final against Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium gives us one more reason to admire the beauty of Cricket.
And then there are N number of reasons I love Cricket and you love Cricket and we all love Cricket.
